JOIN OUR ACTIVE COMMUNITY
Adventure Bay is home to an active year-round community. Our owners come from Alberta, British Columbia, and other parts of Canada. In addition, we have owners from the United States and abroad, giving the community diversity and vitality. Many owners are full-time residents while others occupy their homes seasonally.

Adventure Bay residents participate in social gatherings, nature walks, hiking, and biking outings. Bird watching, flower photography, berry picking are also popular activities at Adventure Bay.
COMMUNITY AMENITIES
Owners and their guests enjoy access to a wide variety of amenities including tennis and pickle ball courts, extensive hiking trails, and a kilometer of shoreline along Lake Okanagan.
VERNON SPORTS
The greater Vernon community welcomes newcomers to all sorts of activities and events including hockey, golf, swimming, baseball, pickle ball, tennis, BMX events, and mountain biking.
BLUEBIRD SOCIETY
In recent years, bird watching has become a very popular activity at Adventure Bay. While residents often view ospreys, bald eagles, blue herons, and red tailed hawks, they started to notice a decline in migratory bluebirds from Mexico. In an effort to restore the bluebird population, AB residents came together to establish a bluebird survival program through the North Okanagan Naturalists Club. Residents designed, built and installed dozens of bird-houses along the Adventure Bay trail system. Within a single season, they noticed a significant comeback of bluebirds on the property. Today, residents enjoy watching the playful bluebirds catching flies for their hatchlings.
