Adventure Bay is home to an active year-round community. Our owners come from Alberta and other provinces, from lower British Columbia and Vancouver Island, from the US and abroad, giving the community diversity and vitality.

In recent years, bird watching has become a very popular activity at Adventure Bay. While residents often view ospreys, bald eagles, blue herons, and red tailed hawks, they started to notice a decline in migratory bluebirds from Mexico. In an effort to restore the bluebird population, residents came together to establish a bluebird survival program through the North Okanagan Naturalists Club. Residents designed, built and installed birdhouses along the Adventure Bay trail system. Within a single season, they noticed a significant comeback of bluebirds on the property. Today, residents enjoy watching the playful bluebirds catching flies for their hatchlings.
